Week 7
Management Information Systems
In the Lecture Haider taught us about the presentation about our chosen company. He told us to do our research on business and find problems and solution for them.
This task is mainly Group work therefore we had to form a group of 4-5 people maximum. So we had to make a rough plan first by making some notes and discussed who is doing which part in the group presentation that way every each of us will be aware of what to do and what to present. In this task it is very important to do a lot of research about the business itself so we have accurate information.
furthermore, this groupwork main tasks is to find problems in the company which has to be technical problems and find therefore solutions for them on how ton solve the technical issues.
Seminar
In regards to the seminar we were taught by our tutor on excel on how to control budgets. I quite liked it as i was following Susie on the board and understood it very well and done the next one without any help and was able to help others in my group and was giving the answers to Susie when she asked.
Groupwork
As a Group we took some time and sat down in the Perry Library to go through the work and discussed and improved and added on few things to ensure it is at the best standard. The business that we have chosen is Gregg's which is a bakery that sells sweet and savoury products such as pastries sandwiches hot and cold drinks etc. This the company that we need to find three problems and solution each of so that we can use it in the presentation.
